Show Altar Society Social. The Indies of the Altar society of St. Mary's cathedral entertained l."0 guests at a "window social" Monday J evening in the Knights of Columbus hall. The affair was arrange by the women of the church as a means of procuring funds to be devoted to the installation of a window in the new cathedral. During the evening 100 or more of the guests enjoyed cards. Prizes were awarded to Miss Phoebe i Harding. Mrs. Frank E. McGurrin. Martin Naylon and Charles Schamberg. Refreshments were served by the Misses Mis-ses Louise Hoefer. Florence Sullivan, Josephine Dederkhs. Amanda Kopp, Grace Sullivan r,nd Ireda Goddard. To W. P. O'Meara. who made, an -efficient master of ceremonies, much of the success of the affair !s due. The "social" was originated and planned by the following ladies, who constituted ih.e committee on arrangements: Mrs. .Toseph Dederichs. Mrs. J. O'Connor Mrs. .1. T. Sullivan.
