Show Reception Given Mr. and Mrs. Dcnwcrth Gubler i ! HURRICANE, Utah. Tuesday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Donworth : Gubler, whose marriage was sol- emnized early Tuesday in the St. 'George Temple, were honored at ! a reception held in the stake ; chapel in Hurricane. Over five j hundred guests were in attend-j attend-j ance coming from Cedar City, St. George and other near-by com- munities. ' The evening's entertainment consisted of dancing and a program pro-gram directed by toastmaster La-Vell La-Vell Iverson of LaVerkin. Mrs. Leon Sullivan sang, followed by 'a reading given by Miss Hazel jepsen. The Misses LaDonna Stevens, Barbara Tweedie played play-ed a violin duet with Elaine Bradshaw accompanist. Mrs. Thomas Judd read after which Paul Wilson sang two numbers. Mace and Shirl Graff played a cornet and trombone duet with Dawn Graff accompanying at the piano. Miss Afton Wilson did a vocal number which was followed by a novelty "One Man Band" executed by Elmer Graff. Following the program light refreshments re-freshments were served and dancing danc-ing resumed. |
