Show Clarence Dahl Gives Qualifications Clarence Dahl, republican candidate candi-date for the nomination for State Representative from Washington county, has furnished the following follow-ing information relative to his training and experience. Mr. Dahl gives this information in answer to a request by the News so that the people of the county may become be-come better acquainted with him and his ability to fill the position posi-tion he is seeking. Following is the information submitted by Mr. Dahl: Born and reared at West Jordan, Jord-an, Salt Lake county, Utah. Worked on father's farm until old enough to manage for himself. him-self. Operated wheat farms in Salt Lake and Utah counties where he helped organize the Cedar Grain Growers association. Came to Dixie in 1934 where he was connected with the sugar beet seed industry. Since coming com-ing here has been engaged in trucking gas and oil also in the automobile business. Sold his farm to his brother who now operates op-erates it because it was too far away from St. George and took up too much time from other business. bus-iness. Attended B. Y.U. three years and L. D. Knows the problems of the farmer and farm organizations. Has been a successful business man and would never accept the philosophy that the day of opportunity oppor-tunity has past. Has learned that he can still get good advice from his father and knows that if elected that he doesn't know everything ev-erything about the legislature but will represent Washington county's coun-ty's many interests because he is well known throughout the state. |
