Show Club notes Orchestra director set to speak Building. Larsen's topic, "Combining Career and Family," will deal with challenges facing today's working women and suggestions as to how one can successfully cope with raising a family and working outside the home. Larsen has taught orchestra in the Cedar City schools . for the past 15 years. She is organizer and teacher of the popular Cedar High "Country Fiddlers." She was the recipient of the 1980-81 Outstanding Achievement Award giverf by the Utah Music Educator's Association. Larsen was founder of the Southern Utah Youth 1 Symphony and is currently vice-president of that organization. She is a four-year faculty member of the Utah String Teacher's Association Workshop at Snowbird and has also conducted workshops at Snow College in Ephraim. She will serve as director of the Utah State University workshop in Logan. Utah. this summer. Larsen graduated from Branch Agricultural College as a junior, after which she did further study at the University of Utah. She graduated with the first I our-year class ol College of Southern Utah as valedictorian.
