Show State Recreational Director Outlines Work L. C. Thorpe, state recreation director, was in St. George last Thursday to meet with the local leaders to discuss projects, outline work and get the lineup of those who were planning to attend the National Recreational meet to be held in Salt Lake City this month and next. The local meeting was held in the Elementary school building, with Vernon Worthen, principal; Mrs. Roxey Romney, Mrs. Carl Burgess, Mrs. Minnie Harris, E. S. Higgins and Mrs. Bertha Hall, attending.
