Show Many Schools To Participate In Pentathlon Eighteen schools are expected to enter athletes in the District Junior Pentathlon meet to be held in St. George on Saturday, April 23. The meet will start at 10:30 a.m. and will continue throughout through-out the day. Each school will enter three boys in each division, but under no condition can more than three boys enter in either junior or senior divisions. John A. Tobler of Mesquite has been asked to act as chairman of the day, according to school officials. . Each of the schools has been holding meets to select the ones who will represent them. The local school will be represented in the Junior division by Leon Watson, 3442 points; Kent Reber, 2940 points and Bob Fawcett, 1814 point. The Senior division winners win-ners are Jay Huntsman, 3748; Douglas Prince, 3165 and Ernest May, 3090 points. The points represent rep-resent the way the boys scored in the local school meet. |
