Show UTAH STATE SOIL CONSERVATION COMMITTEE Legal Notice of the Result of Referendum Notice is hereby given by the Utah State Soil Conservation Commmittee that the proposed LaVerkin and Ash Creek Soil Conservation Con-servation District has duly petitioned, peti-tioned, in the interests of the public health, safety, and welfare, for the organization of said district dis-trict and that said State Committee Com-mittee has determined that the district is desirable and necessary and has fixed the boundaries thereof, which include approximately approxi-mately 160,000 acres. That after due notice said Committee has conducted a referendum within the proposed district upon the question "Shall a soil conservation district of the lands described and lying in Washington and Iron Counties, Utah, be created?" Please take further notice that a canvass of the results of said referendum shows 59 votes cast 'for" and No votes cast "against" the question submitted to the eligible eli-gible voters of the proposed district. dis-trict. That said State Committee shall next determine whether the operation of the district is administratively ad-ministratively practicable and feasible.
