Show Washington Sirs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter The Cotton Factory Camp of the D.U.P. held their regular meeting meet-ing April 1, at the home of Mrs. Barbara Zahner. The next meeting meet-ing will be held May 6, at the home of Mrs. Antone Nielsen. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Nielsen are getting underway with their new home. Lloyd Ray is the main carpenter. Morgan Adams has been confined con-fined to his bed the past week with intestinal flu. Evan Cooper entered the McGregor Mc-Gregor hospital to receive medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Cripps are spending a few days with Mrs Cripps' father, Mr. Dalton at Rockville. Eldon Thomas of Beaver, called at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Saturday enroute home from the musical festival at St. George. His twin, Audry. was also down. They seemed to enjoy the Dixie sunshine very much. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miles were in Washington Sunday on business. busi-ness. James Turner Jr. is able to be at w-ork again. While working on the Temple grounds he hurt his right foot and he has been unable to work. Bp. Wallace Iverson and Walter Iverson just returned from Delta where they were called due to their mother's illness. Mrs. Iverson Iver-son is not much better. Mrs. Bert Connell and children, who have been in Pioche the past year, returned this week. Bud Seegmiller was a caller in Washington Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Emmet t Barnum and son of Mesquite are visiting at the home of Mrs. Bamum's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pectol. |
