Show Ephraim From the Enterprise of April 20: The district school commenced a new term Monday. The little daughter of Niels Thompson has the diphth- ria. The scholars of the ceatral school had a ihig drill last Friday. A great many shade trees are being planted ou Main street. The young men's meetings have been discontinued for the summer months. Another sheep shearing crowd left town on Monday last for Pigeon hollow. A party was up from Manti Monday looking up a location for a barber shop. James and Ole Larson are bnilding a summer dancing hall and will soon have it ready for nse. The ten year old dau ghter of N. L. Peterson died Monday of iung fever. The funeral will be held today. Cards are out announcing the wedding wed-ding of C. L. Thorpo Jr. to Miss Julia llorius, which event will be celebrated today. Superintendent Gieaves has commenced com-menced his lour of the county visiting schools, and will complete tho work before he returns. The academy . students gave their closing ball at Peterson's opera house last Friday evening, aud it was a grand success in e.i ry particular. Principal George Christenseu returned re-turned to his home at Mouut Pleasent Saturday. We hope to see him back in the academy next fall.
