Show Inez Cox, Laura Nelson retire from Gal-Pacific Gal-Pacific Co., are honored by employees ed their thanks and appreciation apprecia-tion to the employees for the gifts and for their friendship. Guests included retired employees em-ployees Hugh Reams, George Jones, Ray Melling and their wives; Elgin and Julia Morris; former employee, Mayor Loren Whetten and Mrs. Whetten, and board member Warren Bulloch and Mrs. Bulloch. Employees of the Southern Utah Division of California-Pacific California-Pacific Utilites Company gave a dinner party for Inez Cox and Laura Nelson on June 30, at 8:00 p.m. at the Sugar Loaf Cafe in Cedar City. j Opening prayer was by Ted Cox, followed by dinner and a j program consisting of remarks by Gayle Adams, master of ceremonies; a musical interlude inter-lude by Bradley Whittaker and his - wife, and remarks toy George D. Grimshaw, assistant assist-ant division manager. Don Carman, President of California-Pacific Utilities Company, presented plaques to MLss Cox and Mrs. Nelson. The plaque to Miss Cox represented 49 years of service and the one to Mrs. Nelson represented 14 j'ears of service for a combined' combin-ed' total of 63 years. Carman commented that he would doubt that anyone in the company com-pany will ever exceed the number of years service of Miss cox. The money trees were two small pine trees decorated with new $1.00 toilLs, flowers and ribbons. Bees and toutter-flys toutter-flys were also among1 . the branches.
