These are made a part of the contract documents. docu-ments. The attention of bidders to the fact that this Commission has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, U. S. Department De-partment of Labor, that contractors con-tractors engaged in highway construction work are required requir-ed to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, (52 Stat. 10f0). The State Highway Department, Depart-ment, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the Department of Commerce Com-merce (15 C.F.R., Part 8), issued is-sued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure in-sure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement adver-tisement will be awarded to tlie lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the ground of race, color, or national na-tional origin. Proposal forms, plans, and sneficifations are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and the office of its District Engineer at Cedar City, Utah where they may toe reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, Speci-fications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only at Salt Lake City, upon application appli-cation and payment of a fee of $5.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company on forms pro-wded pro-wded by the Commission or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5 of the total amount of the bid, made payable pay-able to the State Road Commission, Com-mission, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that i awarded the contract, the bidder bid-der will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required.
