Show Flora W. Schneider honored at graveside services Graveside services, and bur- ial for Mrs. Flora Whitney Schneider, 67, were held in the Parowan City cemetery on Saturday, Sat-urday, July 3. The deceased underwent open heart surgery Tuesday, June 29 and died June 30, after she had suffered suffer-ed from a heart ailment for many years. The services were conducted conduct-ed by G. Fenton Whitney with the following program: Vocal solo, "Oh, My Father", Pres. ident Howard Knight; short talks by Mrs. Doris Whitney and Mrs. Afton Hannig; a solo so-lo by Dwayne Gentry. The invocation in-vocation was by Everett Syph-us, Syph-us, the benediction and dedication dedi-cation of the grave was by Joseph Hannig. She was a granddaughter of Solomon and Ellen McKell Matheson Wardell, early pio-neers pio-neers to Parowan and she resided re-sided here during the summer of 1970. She is survived by three daughters and one son; Mrs, Jack (Gwen) Craig, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Mrs. Leo (Patty) Marten, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Lynn (Jackie) Hen-wood, Hen-wood, Tooele, Utah and Keith Allen Nay, Las Vegas; also 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Sheridan (Clarice) Ballard, Bal-lard, Overton, Nev. and Mrs. Joseph (Afton) Hannig, Parowan; Paro-wan; one brother, G. Fenton Whitney, St. George. |
