KIMBALL MATHESON Miss Margo Overson becomes bride of Kim Matheson in double-ring rites boned crepe formals with a bolero effect. They carried baskets of pink glamelias. Best man was Victor Craig Matheson and ushers were Kerry and Charles Walker, Sid Webster, Larry Overson, and Ron Bigelovv. The mothers of the bridal pair wore light rose double knit dresses with glamelia corsages. The bride chose a light blue knit pant suit as her going away costume. They honeymooned honey-mooned at Grand Canyon before be-fore making their home in Miss Margo Overson became the bride of Doyle Kim Matheson Math-eson in rites solemnized June 12 in the St. George LDS Temple. President Theron Ashcroft officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jay Overson, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Matheson. ' The young Cedar City Couple were feted at a reception recep-tion that same evening at the Cedar City Ninth Ward Cultural Cul-tural Hall. . ; ; . ; . ';;, The bride wore an empire waist gown ' of silk- organza. The bodice was overlayed with heavy lace and the sleeves were long and puffed for a truly feminine effect. It also featured a long train. The el'bow length veil was attached at-tached to a flower chapeau and she carried a bouquet of carnations and pink roses surrounded sur-rounded by baby breath. Mrs.' Larry Milne was matron ma-tron of honor, and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Misses Annette Imlay, Cathy Overson and De-Ann De-Ann Matheson, Mrs. Sid Webster Web-ster and Mrs. Ron Bigelow. Flower Girls were Misses Vickl Matheson' and Denise Matheson. The attendants wore pink Cedar City. , The bride graduated from Cedar High where she was a member of the Pep Club. She attended SUSC where she was affiliated with Pi Rho Omega, and is presently employed at First Security Bank. The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High where he was active in athletics and student government. He is now attending SUSC where he is majoring in Physical Education and is a member of the track team. Pre-nuptial courtesies include in-clude a shower given by Mrs. Marilyn Milne, Mary Kay Matheson, Shanna Haider, Hollie Urie and Annette Imlay. |
