Show Mitchell Lunt elected chairman of CedarCity CoordinatingCouncil Mitchel Lunt was recently elected chairman of the Cedar City Coordinating Council, according ac-cording to Marian Hahne, Coordinator. Co-ordinator. The election was conducted at a recent meeting of tlie Central Committee. Mr. Lunt was elected to the Central Committee in 19t9 and has served as the laison member mem-ber of the Cedar City Recreation Recrea-tion Committee during this time. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in the es-tablishment es-tablishment of the Cedar City Baseball league. Mitchel was born and raised in Cedar City. He is the manager man-ager of the Lunt Motor Company. Com-pany. At the present time he is serving as the Representative Representa-tive of the Chrysler Dealers of Utah on the Chrysler Dealer Deal-er Council. He attended high school and college in Cedar City. Ho com pleted an LDS mission to Texas, Tex-as, and has been active in Civic and community activity in Cedar and is a past officer of the Lion's Club. Lunt is a strong supporter of the youth of this area and has served as a scout master for many years. At the present pres-ent time, he is serving as president of the 5th Quorum of Elders of the 9th Ward. His wife is the former Man-rine. Man-rine. Prince of New Harmony. They are the parents of five children. The position of Vice Chairman Chair-man was filled by the re-election of LaVell Chamberlain. LaVell has served as Vice Chairman for the past two years. Lunt will succeed Ann Judd who has served for the past two years as chairman. |
