Show Death of Hattie Chambers. Last evening at a little past 7 o'clock Miss Hattie E. Chambers, they oung lady who was so dangerously hurt in a coasting coast-ing accident about two weeks ago, was relieved from her intense sufferings by the visitation of death. She had been in a precarious state most of the tinie since the accident, and had been unable to retain re-tain much nourishment of any kind, and had thus grown weaker and weaker. It j was not thought, however, even bv her physician, Dr. Anderson, that so sad a termination of her trouble would ensue, and the shock which her demise has produced pro-duced in the household, where she was greatly beloved, is too distracting to witness. wit-ness. The young lady' had just passed the anniversary of her sixteenth" birthday, birth-day, and had been popularly admired as a result of a most amiable and sweet disposition. dis-position. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. G. Chambers, and their family, will have the deepest sympathy of the community. |
