Show TO INSPECT THE ASYLUM. Utah's legislature, Commissioners and a Host of Invited Co ' to Provo ToDay. Three special cars left the D. & R. G. depot this afternoon containing the legislators, legis-lators, many of the Federal and Territorial Terri-torial officials, representatives of the press and a sprinkling of other prominent and representative men. Receiver Bancroft had made every arrangement ia his power to afford a pleasant transit for the party, and at 1 o'clock the train pulled out with as varied and jolly a crowd of our citizens as was ever brought together to-gether from the several classes which grace Utah society. The party will be met at the Provo station and escorted by Judge Dusenberry, Dr. Pike, A. O. Smoot and others to the Asylum, where preparations prepara-tions have been made for a Dleasant re ception. It is expected that an inspection of the building, the facilities, system, j etc., of the Asylum will occupy the early j attention of the visitors, and at 5 o'clock refreshments will be served. The evening even-ing will be spent in a sort of entertainment entertain-ment and reception, for which an interesting inter-esting programme of a musical and literary character has been prepared, and without any - reflection whatever oh tlie temperate habits of the majority of the company, the Democrat predicts a jolly tjtne for the party. " UN. B. A rumor has just reached us that Editor Heminway was one of the passengers, but whether he was one of the number to be left at the Asylum or merely an invited guest, it was impossible impossi-ble to ascertain ; the former is more than probable. .
