Show Kf rPvVi v'if H .... w; J ' ' J Su y Bountiful's elite children's performing group will continue their spring productions with a program Saturday at the 49th Street Galleria in Salt Lake City. Theme of this year's "Showcase" is "Free To Be Me." Showcase performers on the move again "Showcase," Bountiful's elite children's performing group is on the move again this spring. They have just completed the premier of their spring show at the Mueller Park Junior High School. They performed Saturday, May 23 for the American Cancer Society at Lagoon. They are scheduled to perform at 5:30 p.m. at the 49th Street Galleria on Saturday, May 30. This year's "Showcase" presents pre-sents "Free to Be Me." The show carries an upbeat theme throughout through-out and the enthusiasm of the performers per-formers is exuberant. The show begins with the original song and lyrics by Doug Barnes; "Sing Everyone Sing" and ends with colorful col-orful red, white and blue pom poms A waving in "Song of Freedom." The choreography and music are coordinated with the talents of the performers to provide a fast faced musical review. Doug and Karen Barnes have worked together to provide a thorough musical and movement education to their young performers throughout the year. They have searched out the very best, well-rounded education for children interested in musical theatre and showmanship. They will be providing stimulating classes clas-ses in voice, dance, and drama this summer. Children ages 5-15 may register and audition for this group. Call 295-1331 after 3 p.m. |
