Show J JSdaitsr , r chosen to travel abroad Four Woods Cross High School students will travel to Russia and another to Jordan this summer as a result of being chosen by a National Nation-al Committee which coordinates the Cultural Exchange Program. The People to People Initiative for Understanding program has chosen Gretchen Bernheisel, Sara Wilson, Melissa Garff and Rick Van Alfen to travel to Russia for a six week program beginning in June. The students were required to have a 3.5 gpa in order to qualify as one of the 36 students who were chosen nationwide. The students were chosen from a field of 32 competitors com-petitors from across the state, as a result of their interviews with the judges. The Social Studies department would also like to recognize the achievements of Bryan Montgomery Montgom-ery who is the recipient of the Ken-Scholarship Ken-Scholarship from the University of Utah, and was chosen to study in Jordan for a six week program. |
