Show DAR selects 'Good Citizens5 The Sego Lily Chapter of the National Na-tional Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution has announced the recipients of the DAR Good Citizen Award in the area high schools. The Good Citizens are: Louise Cutler, Viewmont High School; Mary Moody, Woods Cross High School and Cameron Rose, Bountiful Boun-tiful High School. These students were selected by the schools because be-cause they have demonstrated exceptional ex-ceptional dependability, leadership leader-ship and patriotism, and have given service to school, home and community. com-munity. Louise Cutler is an outstanding scholar and athlete. She has served this year as captain of the Viewmont View-mont High Schools girls cross country team. She has won awards in debate and writing. Louise is the daughter of Mrs. Ivan B. Cutler of Centerville. She will be attending the University of Utah next fall. Mary Moody has distinguished herself in theater, debate, and band. She was the general Sterling Scholar at Woods Cross this year. She plans to continue her education educa-tion in engineering. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Moody of Bountiful. Cameron Rose is graduating at the top of his class at Bountiful High School and is the general Sterling Scholar. He is an accomplished accom-plished musician and has performed per-formed in orchestra, jazz band, choir and as piano soloist. He also composes music in many styles. Cameron plans to pursue a career in physics or music composition. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joel Rose of Bountiful. |
