| Show Your Officers Many of the students here at are curious about the duties of the various student officers There is a detailed description of their duties in the constitution But for now a brief description of their responsibilities STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT He is chairman of the Executive Council and is ultimately responsible for the actions of any and all other officers and committees appointed by them He must approve of any funds spent by the Student Government THE EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT VICE He is responsible for all of the Presidents President's duties in the Presidents President's absence He is chairman of the student Senate He is responsible for calling Senate meetings and seeing to the execution of their policies VICE-PRESIDENT VICE of PUBLICATIONS and PUBLIC RELATIONS RELATIONS RELATIONS RELA RELA- She is chairman of Student orientation and Student Community Community Community Com Com- Relations In the absence of the Vice-President Vice she is to chair The Senate And of course she is responsible for our newspaper newspaper newspaper news news- paper Points West Vest THE VICE-PRESIDENT VICE of SOCIAL and STUDENT ACTIVITIES He is responsible for coordination all cultural and Social Activities of the Student Body He is chairman of the Activities and as such responsible for all club activities STUDENT BODY SECRETARY This poor soul is responsible for taking any dictation doing any filing putting memos out outon on campus campusand campusand campusand and any communications off campus for the other officers She is responsible for taking minutes at any meeting which so requires STUDENT BODY TREASURER She is responsible for all of our expenditures and accounting for them A short but heavy load SOPHOMORE CLASS PRESIDENT He is a member of the Executive Executive Executive tive Council Chairman of the Student Affairs Committee and Chairman of the Service United Awards and Certificates Commit Commit- tee FRESHMAN CLASS PRESIDENT He is a member of the Executive Executive Executive tive Council and is Chairman of the Spring Activities Committee These descriptions are brie and only cover the hIgh spots ny tiny activities that can help your officers better serve you such as our Leadership Conference at Mill Hollow or the Conference at Tempe Arizona are well worth the small investment of Student funds Things learned and skills collected at such activities pay for themselves in improved efficient execution of their duties by your officers |
