Show Spanish classes slated for kids The Davis-University of Utah is offering children's Spanish courses beginning Monday, Sept. 29 and will continue the courses on a quarterly basis through the 1986-87 1986-87 year. The course is called "Spanish in Action" (total physical response). The method of teaching is an approach to language-learning through actions. Understanding is developed through movement of student's bodies, situational dialogues, dia-logues, games and songs. The instructor, Maria Turner, is a native of Venezuela and is working work-ing on a master's degree in Spanish. Span-ish. Maria has taught children's Spanish in elementary schools and is currently a Spanish instructor for the University of Utah. The autumn quarter 1986 schedule sche-dule is as follows: Ages 4-7 years, Monday, Tuesday, Tues-day, Wednesday and Friday, 4:30-5 4:30-5 p.m.; Ages 8-12 years, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 4-4:30 p.m. Tuition for the courses is $35 and classes run Sept. 29 through Dec. ; 12.
