Show Hunters: get tundra swln applications Waterfowl hunters will again have the opportunity to hunt tundra tun-dra swans this season. The Utah Wildlife Board approved 2500 swan permits in a meeting earlier this month. Applications will be accepted until Sept. 12, in person or by mail, at Division of Wildlife Resources offices in Salt Luke and Ogden. There is a two dollar application fee. Five thousand waterfowl hunters hun-ters generally apply for the 2500 permits. Permits are awarded by a random drawing at 10 a.m., Sept. 19, at the Salt Lake office of the Division of Wildlife Resource. Hunters who draw swan permits will be notified by mail. |
