| Show congratulations we wish to offer our congratulations to the L H re redd d company for the good work that they have done in graveling the side walk around their property as well as the good work they did on the road in front of the store congratulations are also due the midland telephone co and the state bank of san juan for the improvement to the road in front of their places of business it seems good to see this public spiritedness on the part of these people we can also mention the moab garage and the palmer and foy store for they both have 1 done good work on the road around their places we trust and hope that more people will do likewise for it would improve the town greatly we have said before I 1 in in column that we cannot blame people if they do not want to stop in our ou town on a wet day when you need chains on your feet to keep from skidding and hip boots to keep from going over the tops into the mud we understand that gravel can be had for a small sum per load at the gravel bank east cast of the town and now is the time to do this work at little or no cost except tho the labor of hauling the gravel and greatly improve your property it is the little things like this that adds to the value of property and the attractiveness of a town now that we have some good walks we hope that one of the state employees will find some place to park his car other than directly across the side walk utterly disregarding the rights of pedestrians we cannot understand or explain such an attitude unless it comes fro from in a lupei superiority bority complex and then we wonder how some folks get that way |
