JEAN McDANIELS al the head with counselors ALICE WEBSTER and ALTA FISHER, and CAROL BLUNT secretary. Visiting at the JIM GATHERUM GATHER-UM home is daughter Afton MRS. ROLLO O'LEARY. She is spending a month in town renewing re-newing acquaintances and visiting visit-ing old friends. It's been an exciting week at the BORG home on Wilson Avenue. Ave-nue. If the wedding of BOB and LORRAINE weren't enough they are all puffed up about the birth of their first grandson. He was born to RUTH BORG WHITNEY up in Idaho last week. She has four little daughters daugh-ters to help her take care of the new arrival. . . An expression expres-sion of sympathy is extended to MRS. JOSEPH B. GARRETT, With just a few weeks left before the school bells begin to ring, many are still rushing hither and yon on vacation. Off for a trip to Glacier National Park are the PAUL McPHET-ERS McPHET-ERS and daughter CAROL ANN . . . Mr. and Mrs. A, L, FURLONG FUR-LONG and boys are vacationing in California. . . Having a simply sim-ply wonderful time on her tour of New York, Chicago and Washington, D. C, is MRS. R. E. Holt. She is accompanied by her sister. They plan to visit the JOSEPH SMITH farm in Vermont and see the big church pageant. Remember ED and FAE DONNA COOLEY, who moved from the ward just a short while ago? Their new baby is a girl. They just moved into their new home on 16th East and Westminster. On the sick list this week is WALLY IVERSON who has been quite seriously ill but is on the road to recovery. . . REID NIEDERHAUSER has been ill too but is up and around again now. . . RONNIE ROO-SENDAAL ROO-SENDAAL is still trundling around in a wheel chair as a result of an accident suffered at teh first of cummer. He expects to be able o go back to school in the fall. BETTY CROWTHER, daughter daugh-ter of MR. and MRS. GEORGE CROWTHER from out Holla-day Holla-day way is isplaydng a beautiful diamond and it is rumored that wedding bells will be ringing soon out that way. Stealing the social spotlight this week is the PLOGIAN- whole ward turned out to honor them at their reception Tuesday evening. From the Richards Ward way a bit of vacation talk and other interesting things are making the news. . . Bishop WILFORD KIMBALL and family have been vacationing in San Francisco Fran-cisco as have MR. and MRS. RALPH JONES. . . Wedding bells will be ringing soon for IRIS BROWN and ELAINE BROWN, daughters of MRS. RUBY BROWN. . . MRS. GRANT FISHER entertained at a double shower in their 'honor during the week. . , It's a babv girl for ELAINE VINCENT HERMANSEN. Most of the auxiliary organizations organi-zations in Richards 'have been reorganized. The new Relief Society president is FLORENCE FLOR-ENCE PARKIN, with ALTA MULCOCK, and LYDIA NEW-BOLD NEW-BOLD ounselors, and PEARL HARRELL, secretary. . .
