With a mile wide grin on his face proud Ernie Er-nie was introducing his infant son to his Sugar House Ward friends. Janet and Ernie came down Trom Boise for the weekend. week-end. Saratoga here we come! That will be the cry of the Aaronic Priesthood as they leave the ward on Saturday at 1 p.m. for an afternoon of swimming and fun at Saratoga. The priests will leave an hour later as some of the older boys are working. While we're speaking of Aaronic, Sunday evening church services will commemorate the restoration restora-tion of the Aaronic Priesthood and an appropriate program has. been planned. Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. will be the Primary graduation at the stake house: Sugar House Ward reported the largest graduating grad-uating group in the stake 13. girls and 11 boys. The graduating group: Joanne Andersen, Gloria Tannlund, Cheryl Smedley, Barbara Barney, Bar-ney, Kay Bateman, Patricia Warner, Patsy Larsen, Maralyn Ball, C 1 a u d i n e Borg, Patsy Smith, Lis Osborne, Maralyn Lancaster, Joy Jarman. Jimmie Bond, Jimmy Spence, Larry North, Dan Meadows, Ronnie Roosendaal, Richard Larsen, Reid Niederhauser, Richard Delenback, Lynn Mc-Phi, Mc-Phi, Donald Cowan and Richard Morris. On Wednesday at Primary, members of the graduating classes held a review quiz and had a party with their mothers as their guests. Monday evening at the home of EDITH TANNLUND, 1857 McClelland, the Primary officers and teachers meeting and party was held. Assisting hostesses were ERMA FURLONG and DOROTHY WOODLAND. . . . ROSEMARY STORRS gave her missionary homecoming talk last Sunday evening. She returned recently from the Texas-Louisiana Mission. D A R R E L L LONG, who recently returned from the Western States Mission, Mis-sion, spoke on the same evening. "Twas good to see KAY - ' STORRS CRACROFT in the audience. She came to hear her sister speak. . . . PEARL FLORENCE, FLOR-ENCE, representing the young girls of the ward, gave a fine talk. NORMAN. JENSEN underwent under-went an operation on his hand during the week. . . Weddinjj bells are ringing all around. DON STEWART was marriwl on Monday and BOB HERZOG is losing no time claiming bis girl. Wedding bells will vine May 18 for him. At the stake honor night for the third-year Beehive Girls, eight of our girls had the distinction distinc-tion of beeing Honor Bees. Thev are: JOANNE WILCOX, KAY PETERSON, GLORIA ACKER-MAN, ACKER-MAN, MARALYN HERZOO. MARY ANNE ROGERS, JOYCE SHEPHERD, G E R R I E OC MOND and JOANNE TANNLUND. |
