Show Library To Hold 'Story Book1 Parade Thursday Robin Hood and Alice in Wonderland Won-derland will join Miss Sugar House candidates in Friday evening's eve-ning's fashion show, Miss Au-relia Au-relia Bennion, local librarian, announced Wednesday. Sprague Branch will conduct a "Story Book Parade," in which children and young people are invited tp model their favorite book characters. The Fairy Princess Prin-cess will award prizes as she did last year and the winners oi each group will appear in the Sugar House Style Show on Friday. Fri-day. The event at the Library will take place on Thursday evening, eve-ning, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Main Reading Room. "We cordially cord-ially invite the public to attend," Miss Bennion said. Also feaured at the library Thursday evening will be an exhibit ex-hibit of new books for children and adults. There will be an especially interesting display of prize children's books. Permanent staff members of the Sprague Branch in addition to Miss Bennion include: Mrs. C. K. Haffziger, assistant librarian; Mrs. Reid Nation, children's department; de-partment; and Mrs. Stella Coz-akos, Coz-akos, -library assistant. Of the fifty notable books oi 1948 as listed by public libraries. Sprague Branch Library has fifteen: fif-teen: The Plague; The Proper Study of Mankind; The Heart oi the Matter; Witness to the Truth. Road to Reason; Raintree Country; Coun-try; Folk Song: U. S. A.; Dr Faustus; Stalingrad; Remembrance Remem-brance Rock; Roosevelt and Hopkins; The Great Rehearsal; Man Called White; The Ides of March.
