Show Holladay School Teachers Visit Us On April 19 there were IS teachers at our school from all over the world. They were attending at-tending a convention of Association Asso-ciation of Childhood Education International in Salt Lake City. They came to our assembly and talked to us. After singing "School Days" for us they visited the rooms. Luncheon was served to all. We were glad to have them with us. Holladay School Editor. Joan Blodgett, Trip to Airport The third grade boys and girls went to the airport on Friday, April 15th. We really had a fine time. We saw so many planes. Two big four-motored DC-4's came in while we were there and there were four DC-3's that arrived. ar-rived. It was fun to see the passengers pas-sengers get off the plane. The stewardess waved to us. Then we saw the big pile of mail bags and the baggage being taken off. There were some flowers and baby chicks that had been carried car-ried by the plane. I While we were on the obser vation platform a girl filled a balloon with helium gas and sent it up for weather observation. observa-tion. They only send one up every six hours so we were very happy to be there then. We were able to go through the inside of a DC-3. We sat down in the seat and fastened our seat belt while Mr. Man-waring Man-waring told us all about the plane. We were glad to have such a good guide. We were able to draw some good pictures and write some good stories about the things that we saw on our trip. Miss Eldredge, Miss Farley, Third Grade.
