Show BPW Installs On May 25th Two candidates for the title of Miss Sugar House 1949 were discussed dis-cussed by members of the local Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's Club at their regular meeting Wednesday evening at the Doll House. One of the girls will represent the club. The two candidates are: Mis Edith Stephens daughter of Mr Sylvia Stephens, 806 East 2is South, and Miss Helen Colville. daughter of Mrs. Laura Rimens-berger, Rimens-berger, 1355 Harrison Ave. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Miss Pat Goal-en Goal-en an Irving Junior High student, stu-dent, and Dick Shepherd and George Garwood, students from South High. The group presented present-ed an original program entitled "A Day in Radio." The script, which was written by the three students included a satire on Sugar Su-gar House business firms. Next BPW meeting will be held May 25 at the Art Barn 1 when new officers will be in-I in-I stalled. It will be held in conjunction con-junction with the new Ensign I Club from Salt Lake. |
