Show J Renee Sbepard' Betrothed A. very important wpdding is to take place one week from today to-day when one of our loveliest j and most popular socialites takes her vows. The betrothed are ; Miss Renee Shepard. daughter j of Mrs. J. Leo Shepard, 1353 Fillmore Fill-more and O. Ned Kirkham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar A. Kirk-nam, Kirk-nam, 1345 Normandie Circle. The Dec. 27 rites will be sol- J emnized in the LDS temple and then the couple will be honored with a wedding dinner. The newlyweds plan to honeynroon in southern California 'before making a home in Palo Alto. Calif., where Ned-will attend Stanford. He will receive his degree from there in June. Miss Shepard told the news of her marriage at a luncheon held in the president's suite of the Hotel Utah. Tiny scrolls tied with silver bolls marked the place and told the news to 30 guests. The table was centered with a white tree with decorated dangling silver bells. The bride-to-be is a University Univer-sity of Utah graduate and af filiated with the Pi Beta Phi sorority and Spurs. The benedict is a Sigma Alpha Epsilon member and was recently recent-ly released from the armed forces with the rank of major. I |
