Show Siddoway grabs honors Because of a lack of competitive sports this past week, no male athlete of the week was chosen by the Clipper. Our Female Athlete of the Week had quite a week, however. Viewmont High sophomore Jenny Jen-ny Siddoway had her most productive produc-tive week of the season as the Vikings Vik-ings garnered seventh place during the girls' state 4-A basketball tournament tour-nament at Murray High. For her efforts, Jenny will receive a certificate certifi-cate from the Clipper and pizzas from Little Caesar's Pizza in Bountiful. Siddoway buried several three-pointers three-pointers during the Vikes' climb to seventh. Other nominees who had outstanding efforts at state included in-cluded Woods Cross sophomore Dawn Britton, who scored 21 points in the Wildcats' last two wins; and Bountiful' s Lisa Wilkinson, Wilkin-son, consistent as usual in helping the Braves to a first round win. Other nominees included previous winners from all four Clipper-area schools. The awards will resume when spring sports get into full swing near the end of March. 1 If .w-w-vt ----- I "'"CA it A w&f 'r r 1 1 j m hi irtiwiiMWlwiHii |
