H The North Davis Area Mutual ', for the Handicapped, an LDS prog- ram for handicapped youths and young adults from 21 stakes of The ; Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-; Latter-; day Saints in northern Davis Coun-l Coun-l ty, will present its annual musical f production this year in both Clear- field and Salt Lake City. ; The production, "Do You Hear 'i the People Sing?" has an ancient Roman setting this year, focusing on the Romans vs. the Christians . confrontation. t Dates for the musical are March 10 and 1 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clear-; Clear-; field High School auditorium, and j. on March 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Promised Valley Playhouse (mainstage), 132 S. State, Salt Lake City. Admission to the Clearfield performances per-formances is free of charge, but due to rental fees and higher expenses, ex-penses, there will be a $1 per person per-son charge at PVP. Tickets are available at the Promised Valley Playhouse box office. The musical was written and directed by Beverly Olsen of Kays-ville. Kays-ville. The North Davis Mutual for the Handicapped involves nearly 65 young men and women from the northern Davis County and southern south-ern Weber County areas. The program, prog-ram, with Ron and Renee Nelson of Kaysville as co-presidents, also involves leaders from throughout the 21 -stake area. The youths range inage froml2 through 50-plus years of age. (Because (Be-cause many of these youths are mentally handicapped, they are considered mutual-age. There is a complete LDS Young Women program and the Scouting program encompasses all areas of scouting Boy Scouts, Varsity and Explorer Ex-plorer Scouts.) |
