Show PAGE 14 Yoshiko Omura CLEARFIELD Yoshiko Matsumoto Omura, 68, of 435 S. 750 E., died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1988 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., of heart failure. fai-lure. . She was born Jan. 28, 1920 in Green River, Wyo., a daughter of K. and Tsuru Matsumoto. She married Fred H. Omura Nov. 19, 1939 in Elko, Nev. She was former owner of Favorite Cleaners. She had lived in Elko, Nev. until 1955. She then moved to Clearfield where she has resided until her death. She graduated from Elko High School and was a member of the Japanese Christian Church in Ogden. She was a member of the Clearfield Clear-field Senior Citizens where she was former board member of the nutri- tion board. She was chosen "Woman of the Year" in 1977 for the Lakeview Business Women's Club and was former member of the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. , Surviving are her husband of Clearfield; three sons and one daughter, Fred Omura Jr., Ogden; Bob Omura, Puyallup, Wash.; Tom Omura, Layton; Mrs. Norman Nor-man (Fumiko) Bradley, Salt Lake City; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Teruo (Kiku) Kawata, Honolulu, Hawaii; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Janet Matsumoto, Los Angeles, Calif. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
