Show MKS MISSIONARIES AMANDA MONTECINOS Amanda Montecinos, daughter of Lucio Montecinos and Bethsabe Montecinos of Bolivia, has been called to serve in the California San Diego Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will serve the Spanish speaking people of that area. She enters the MTC March 16. Her farewell will be held Sunday, Sun-day, March 13 at 9 a.m. in the Bountiful 26th Ward, 200 W. 200 N., Bountiful. Friends and neighbors neigh-bors are invited to an open house for Amanda Saturday, March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Reid and Delona Wuthrich at 276 W. Center, Bountiful. Amanda graduated from Rene Barrientos High School in Bolivia and worked for Iberia, Spanish Airlines. She came to study in America in 1986, attending one year at Salt Lake Community School and one quarter at Utah Valley Community College, Provo. Flood of Farmington, has accepted a call to serve in the California Ventura Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will work with the Spanish-speaking people of that area. Rodney is a 1987 graduate of Davis High School and Seminary. He was active in music and sports, participating in Madrigals and musical productions and playing soccer and football. He attended Brigham Young University in the fall, serving as captain of the junior varsity soccer team. Rodney is also an Eagle Scout. Most recently, he has been working work-ing for the Franklin Institute in Salt Lake City. Rodney's farewell will be Sunday, Sun-day, March 13 at 2:50 p.m. in the Farmington 19th Ward, which meets in the Farmington Utah Stake Center, 695 S. 200 E., Farmington. Farm-ington. Steele, son of Roger and Elaine Steele, has returned home after serving two years in the Kentucky Louisville Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stoddard, has accepted a call to serve in the Ecuador Quito Mission. His farewell will be part of the services of the Farmington 11th Ward on March 13 at 12:50 p.m. in the Farmington Stake Center, 695 S. 200 E., Farmington. Elder Stoddard is a graduate of Davis High where he was captain of the football and basketball teams and was also active in soccer and track. He is an Eagle Scout. She will enter the MTC March 16. Her farewell will be held Sunday, Sun-day, March 13 at 9 a.m. in the Cen-terville Cen-terville 21st Ward Chapel at 1460 N. Main Street, Centerville. Tammy is a graduate of Bountiful Bounti-ful High School and is a senior at Brigham Young University. There will be an open house at the Murdock home Sunday afternoon after-noon following her farewell. |
