Show Lucile Sheffield KAYSVILLE Lucile Beck Sheffield, 84, of 171 W. 100 N., died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1988 in a Bountiful nursing home of causes incident to age. She was bom April 6, 1903 in Centerfield, a daughter of Alexander Alexan-der Avery and Hannah Thunneson Beck. She married Kenneth Heber Sheffield Sept. 5, 1923 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 17, 1968. She was educated in Sanpete County schools, Gunnison High School and Davis High School. She attended Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. She had lived in Kaysville for the past 65 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had served in many ward and stake auxiliaries. She also served as PTA president presi-dent and in several literary and social so-cial clubs. She was an extensive world wide traveler and shared her experiences experi-ences with many. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Russell H. Sheffield, Fruit Heights; Dr. Sherman B. Sheffeld, Salt Lake City; Beck K. Sheffield, Mrs. Ned B. (JoAnn) Roueche, both of Kaysville; Mrs. Phillip R. (Joyce) Kunz, Provo; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bernice Sheffield, Layton; 30 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 34 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Lavora B. Jensen, Salt Lake City; Geneal B. Barlow, Clearfield; Grace B. Snell, Margie B. Lott, both of Orem. She was preceded in death by one son, Homer J. Sheffield. Shef-field. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Funeral services were held Feb. 29 at the Kaysville Tabernacle with Bishop Dennis L. Hill officiating. Family prayer was offered by Beck K. Sheffield; prelude, Reva S. Killian; "O My Father" by Joyce and Burton Winters accompanied accom-panied by Patricia Hirschi; invocation, invoca-tion, Ned B. Roueche; remarks, Bishop Dennis L. Hill; tribute, Joyce S. Kunz; speaker, Sherman B. Sheffield; musical selection by grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; speakers, Russell H. Sheffield and Elder Marvin J. Ashton; "God Be With You" by Oralie Waite accompanied by Francis Stewart; benediction, Philip Phi-lip R. Kunz. Dedication of the grave was by Craig B. Sheffield with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas H. Sheffield, John S. Sheffield, Rick L. Sheffield, Michael B. Roueche, Jay P. Kunz and Todd B. Sheffield. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Rus-sell Y. Sheffield, Kevin A. Sheffield, Shef-field, Heber J. Sheffield, William K. Sheffield, Mark J. Sheffield, Joseph L. Sheffield, Kim J.
