Show IjtcHttrtl-tHendtch Colleen Blanchard 8 Girls Make Trip To Brighton Among the young girls who attended the Beehive outing at Brighton last week were Enid and Rosalie Brown, Sandra Powell. Pow-ell. Sharon Shaw, Betty Mower, Ruth Hamblin, Valeen Adams and Karen Nelson. Harvey Adams made a trip to Pleasant Grove last Tuesday. His daughter, LaRene returned home with him. Mrs. Minerva Hullingr is visiting here from Pleasant Grove. Max Nelson and A. D. Shaw made a trip to Springville. Mrs. Nola Nelson will return with them. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson spent two days at the Deseret coal mine. Enroute home they visited a few hours in Price. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower visited during the week with Mrs. Mary Mower, in Roosevelt. A large group of friends gathered at the James Hamblin home to go swimming Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Blanchard visited Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Blanchard Blan-chard Sunday. Mrs. F. E. Reynolds and son, Howard D, of Baggs, Wyoming, spent the week-end here. They have purchased a new Chevrolet Chevro-let touring xar. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Memmott, and Mr. and Mrs. Theron Leav-itt Leav-itt were visitors at Sacrament meeting Sunday. We all enjoyed listening to the recording of Apostle Spencer W. Kimball's talk given at the B.Y.U. last spring. Donna Brown and Mary Dale Hamblin were released from the Roosevelt hospital last N week. They are reported doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Blanchard left for Spanish Fork Sunday to return Wayne Blanchard to his home. Visitors at the home of Lee Blanchard Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blanchard, Blan-chard, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Blanchard. Blan-chard. Mrs. F. E. Reynolds and son, Mrs. Monty Johnson and Erin Pace. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Alexander, Alex-ander, of Shelton, Washington returned to their home last week. The girls softball team is off to a pretty good start. They lost the first game to Whiterocks, but won the second with Roosevelt Roos-evelt First ward. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Loranger visited the Crows Saturday eve-ning. |
