Vicky Allen left Saturday for a 'trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park. Mrs. John Swensoti has been visiting the past week with relatives rel-atives in Springville. Mary Lynn and Ralph Crockett, Crock-ett, children of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Crockett, of Logan, re-1 turned home recently, after vis-j iting here with their grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. Mary Orser. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bird and children, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham. A father and sons fishing trip to Chain Lakes was enjoyed by the following group last Thursday, Thurs-day, Friday and Saturday: Rulon Ru-lon Anderton and sons. Neil and Kenneth; Hollis Hullingejr and sons, Gilbert and Phillip; Van Winterton and sons, Eldon, Don, and Keith; Russel Todd, Alden White and Jimmy Bacon. A canyon party was enjoyed last Sunday at Little Park by Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Penfield and Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and families. Maurine Gilbert and Arvin Bellon were Salt Lake City visitors vis-itors last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Spillsbury and daughter, Jewell, of Salt Lake City, were visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin and son, Doug, motored to Salt Lake City last Saturday to take Doug's friend, Claude Tinsley, who was enroute to his home in San Francisco, after spending several weeks in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert and daughter, Tenna Ruth, returned re-turned Monday from Montana, where they had visited Mrs. Byron A. Smith at the Jak Frost ranch. They also visited Yellowstone Park and other points of interest. Returning with them was Emma Em-ma Rae Berrett, Renae's school mate, who will visit with them for a week. Mrs. G. B. Finch, of Santa Monica, California, is visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Murray, and family. She plans to be here about three weeks. Week-end guests at the Murray Mur-ray home, also, were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Collingham. of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Memmott attended funeral services in Ne-phi Ne-phi Tuesday for Mr. Memmott's uncle. They were accompanied by Leah Christiansen, who returned re-turned to her home in Fountain Green after spending two weeks at the Howard Ivory home. Also accompanying them were Mrs Wm. J. Desmond and Mrs. C. A. Memmott, of American Fork. Mrs. Van Winterton and daughter, Diana, and Mrs. Omni Winterton and daughter, Marilyn, Mar-ilyn, spent last Friday and Saturday Sat-urday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Buchanan were called to Salina last week because of injuries Mrs. Buchanan's Bu-chanan's mother, Mrs. Bertha Herbert, suffered when knocked to the pavement by a fast moving mov-ing bicycle which was being ridden rid-den on the sidewalk. She suffered suf-fered a broken leg, bruises and shock. Mrs. Bert Burgess and son, Jack, accompanied by her father, John S. Redmond, took Mrs. Redmond to the Intermountain Clinic in Salt Lake Friday for treatment. Janet Kelsey left the forepart fore-part of July for Jacob's Lake, Arizona. She is working at Bowman's Tourist Lodge. Mary Kelsey returned this week from a week's visit in southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Sullivan and family attended- the Man-gum Man-gum family reunion at Fish Lake July 27-29. Jimmy Van Law, of Decatur, Illinois, arrived Sunday to visit vis-it with Doug Malin. Another guest at the Malin residence is Mrs. Malin's cousin Miss Priscilla Cartright, of New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Louie Laris visited in Salt Lake City durin" the week. " Mrs. Clarence Shultz and daughter, Bernita Kay, of ln. dependence, Mo., are visiting at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Tommy Gabbert, and family. ' Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs R. S. Jordan the past two weeks were Mr. and Mrs. Craig Harmston, Harm-ston, of Salt Lake City, a party in their honor was held at the Jordan cabin in Uinta canvnn last week-end. ' yon Mr. and Mrs. Sam Miller! their daughter, Shirley, and son, Sam, of Evansville, Ind., left today for their home after visiting vis-iting here with Mrs. Miller's brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Marion Bowman . Mrs. Ervin Moon, of Vernal has been a guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Darrell Walker, during the week Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Redford and children, of Bakersfield, California, visited during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Labrum and family. Mrs. Red-ford Red-ford and Mrs. Labrum are sisters. sis-ters. Also guests at the Labrum home last week were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Palmer, of Rose-ville, Rose-ville, California, who were entertained en-tertained at a fish supper during dur-ing their stay. Other guests at the supper included Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Labrum and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Labrum.
