Show Badger Is Busy Robbing Coops One Mr. Badger has been a regular visitor in Bennett doing do-ing his visiting mostly at night. He has taken 60 chickens from Mrs. Clair Haslem, 85 from the John Bolton coops, and about 80 from Floyd Harmston. There must be a family out calling for Johnny Haslem and Nick Harmston have killed two badgers, but the chickens continue con-tinue to disappear. On July 26 a baby girl came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Roberts, of Vernal. Mrs. Roberts is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon. Kaye Bowen has gone to Brighton canyon with the Beehive Bee-hive girls. The group left early Tuesday morning and will return re-turn Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nichols, of Rangely Colorado, arrived last week to visit their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Dick Coltharp. Being a busy merchant in Rangely, they could not stay long,, just a couple of days, returning Wednesday. |
