Show Leeton Oil Well Down 6942 Feet The Leeton No. 1 oil well cored on Friday from 6893 to 6942 feet. The air blew in 10 minutes, no gas arose. Crews recovered re-covered 700 feet of gas-cut mud. Drilling was continuing Saturday. Satur-day. Little Jackie Lindley had watched the drill stem while the crew took it out and it seemed to her that 6900 feet was a long way, so She said to one of the crew, "Aren't they almost al-most down to where the Chinamen China-men are?" Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Harm-ston, Harm-ston, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Harm-ston, Harm-ston, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Harm-ston, Harm-ston, of Salt Lake City, transacted trans-acted business here during the week. While here they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Oberhans-ley Oberhans-ley say they can always make room for a lovely new arrival such as the baby girl born Monday Mon-day in Holy Cross hospital. Salt Lake City. All concerned are doing do-ing well. Mark came home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coltharp came from Dugway to visit over ov-er the week-end with Mrs. Frances Bowan. They returned Tuesday. - Bertha Bolton has been visiting vis-iting her sister In Ogden. She returned home Saturday. I |
