Show Eight Buses Have Overload In Duchesne Schools Only eight out of 27 buses operated by the Duchesne County Coun-ty School District were listed as over-loaded in the 1951 school bus inspection record of the Utah Highway Patrol. Overload on the eight buses totals 44 students, or 5Vt students stu-dents per bus. The mechanical inspection of the fleet of buses showed that 1 stop light. 52 windows, and 1 chain needed attention. Three speedometers were faulty. This is the best record for the Duchesne County school bus fleet that has ever been shown on the annual inspection of school buses by the Utah Highway High-way Patrol, reports Supt. Dean C. Christensen. R. A. Devine, patrolman, made the survey inspection. |
