Show Poultry Crop To, Meet In Salt Lake Feb. 15 16 The 29th annual convention of the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative will jbe held -a-t the Hotel Utah Friday and Saturday Satur-day Feb. 15 and 16, according h t H Ray Pond of Richmond, chairman for this 1952 convention. conven-tion. Farmers and poultrymen from all parts of Utah and Southern Idaho will make the jaunt to Salt Lake City for the annual eet-together. New officers will hP elected and three directors will be named for two-year terms. The directors will be chosen cho-sen from the Payson area, the American Fork-Provo-Heber area ar-ea and the Spanish Fork-Spring-ville-Price area. The convention will start at 1-30 p.m. on Friday. February 15 Registration will commence at 11 a.m. Two meetings will be held on Saturday, starting at 9-30 ajn. and 1:30 p m. The morning meeting will be under the direction of the state women's wo-men's auxiliary with Mrs. Edna Ohlwiler in charge. P. Oliver Hansen of Spanish Fork, president, presi-dent, will preside at the other meeting. A nationally prominent farm speaker will make the keynote address. General Manager Clyde C. Edmonds will make a complete com-plete report on 1951 activities in the cooperative. The convention conven-tion will be concluded with the annual dinner and program at the Hotel Utah. Saturday eve ning, February 16. Assisting Mr. Pond on the convention con-vention committee are: Mr. Hansen, Han-sen, of Spanish Fork; H. O. Ber-rett, Ber-rett, of Draper; Leon Forsgren, of Preston, and Mrs. Ohlwiler, of Paradise. |
