Show Stake MIA Heads Visit Ward Jan. 22 There was a special program given in M I A meeting Tuesday evening, Jan. 22, with stake officers, George Hacking, Floyd Ross and Harold Sprouse, in attendance. at-tendance. Myrth Gardner conducted a pantomime entitled "Red Rid-inghood," Rid-inghood," with Gary Gardner as the reader. Participating were DeAnn Asay, Carolyn Ross, Car-la Car-la Stanley and Roger Larsen. Ned Gines and his daughter. Patsy, took part in the speech divisidn. A dance was held at the close of class work. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jenkins announce an-nounce the arrival of a new granddaughter, the baby of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins, of Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle and Mr. and MS. Ernest Betts visited vis-ited in Vernal on Jan. 21. Miss Fontella Galloway, one of the teachers at Alterra. was confined to her home several days last week with flu. Mrs. Faulkner, of Fort Duchesne, taught in her place. Evan Olsen made a business trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill and daughter, Barbara, and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Morrill and small son, of Tridell, visited Saturday Sat-urday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Simper. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken ran some films Saturday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken, showing their two young sons at Christmas Christ-mas time. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle were in Vernal last Monday to transact business with the Uintah Uin-tah School Board. |
