Show f. Gusher Frances Semken Easter Sunday dinner guests at the Bud Markey home were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Phillips and children, of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allred and children. Kenneth Covington and Neil Domgaard left Friday for New Castle, Wyo., to look for employment em-ployment in the oil fields. Mrs. Lucy Duyall substituted for Mrs. Eva Rushton in the Ft. Duchesne school kitchen three days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen and children, of Hayden, spent Tuesday evening with Mrs. Bowens parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burns Hallet. Mrs. Chester Murray and baby, ba-by, of Vernal, visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace McCarroll. Moffat Ward Relief Society met at the Chapel Tuesday to quilt for Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg. Twelve members enjoyed a pot luck lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Semken were Vernal business visitors, Friday. , Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ferguson Fergu-son and baby, of Heber. spent the weekend here with relatives. Mrs. Lorin Crapo spent the weekend in Provo and American Ameri-can Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Atwood. of Grand Valley, Colo., arrived Sunday to attend funeral services ser-vices for Mr. Atwood's father, held Monday in Vernal. They visited Gusher relatives before returning home. Dr. W. E. Greene, president of Clark college, Newton, Miss., and Rev. Charles Ray, Thursday attended the Ladies' Bible class meeting in Gusher. Dr. Greene addressed the gathering. Lomar and Clinton Dahlberg went to Salt Lake Monday to seek employment. Mrs. Eva Rushton installed a hot water tank and bathroom fixtures in her home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schwoke and F. J. Schwobe spent two days last week in' Salt Lake. |
