The Boy Scouts of jnerica has selected Valley Forge, a., for its second national scout smboree in 1950, Dr. Arthur Ichuck, chief scout executive of the rganization, announces. To Occupy 600 Acres Boy Scout officials announced iat the jamboree camp will proba-y proba-y occupy 600 of the 2,033 acres i Valley Forge park. This would :ovide 32 sectional camps for a aximum of 40,320 scouts and adult aders and a headquarters camp r 460 leaders. Valley Forge park 20 miles northwest of Phila-slphia Phila-slphia and seven miles west of orristown. The first national scout jamboree as held in a 430-acre tent city on th sides of the Potomac river at jashington, D.C., from June' 30 to I ji 'uy 9, 1937 at the invitation of resident Franklin D. Roosevelt.
