Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe April D.U.P. Met At Ralphs Home The D U P held its meeting for April Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Twila Ralphs. The lesson, "Mormon Pioneers in Nevada and Idaho," was given by Mrs. Lola Jones. Members present were Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Fisher, Mrs. Marian Reese, Mrs. Mary Riley, Mrs. Mary Dump, Mrs. Margaret Maxfield, Mrs. Lola Jones and the hostess, Mrs. Twila Ralphs. Refreshments were served. (Late for last week) Mr. and Mrs. Von Timothy and sons, of Bonanza, spent Easter Eas-ter weekend here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mohlman made a business trip to Salt Lake over the weekend. A short Easter program was given in Sunday School, with the following taking part: Clea Clark, 2 V2 minute talk; poem, Jack Reese; solo, "Easter Parade," Pa-rade," Coralie , with Mrs. Elya Snyder at the piano; poem, Alien Ames; talk, Claude Murray. Mur-ray. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kemp and family, of Sandy, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Mary Carroll. Car-roll. Rex Fowler, student at University Uni-versity of Utah, spent the weekend week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Max-field Max-field took their family to Roosevelt Roos-evelt Saturday to receive dental care. Ed Davis, who has spent the winter in Salt Lake City with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Girth, returned Tuesday to his home in Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred and family spent Easter Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett and Mr. and Mrs. Udell Allred, in Rangely. . Leon Dump is able to be home after being operated on at the Salt Lake Veterans hospital hos-pital on March 28. Harold Ralphs, who is receiving re-ceiving medical treatments in Provo, was home a few days, returning to Provo again Thursday. Thurs-day. Mrs. Glen Mohlman was operated op-erated on Monday in a Salt Lake City hospital. Those from Altonah who took part in the contest at Tabiona April 16, were Sherral Ames, Bonnie Ann Ames, Alta Ames; Perry Maxfield, Walker Reee and Donald Kolb. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reese attended the contests. |
