Show Carol Todd And Horman Angus lamed Presidents Miss Carol Todd, of the Roosevelt Roos-evelt L D S Ward, and Norman Angus, of the Ballard Ward, were chosen presidents of the Stake Junior Gleaners and Jun ior M-Men, respectively, during MIA services Tuesday night at the Roosevelt Stake House. Each ward introduced its candidate can-didate with a clever skit, and then each ward was entitled to have three votes for the presidents presi-dents first, second and third choice and the ones receiving the highest number of votes were elected to guide the Jr. Gleaner and Jr. M-Men classes during the coming year. Stake class leaders are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergensen, of Myton. While judges were counting the votes, the following program was presented: double trio from Roosevelt, which sang "My Testimony," Tes-timony," Ann Payne, Janice Anderton, An-derton, Carol Schaefermeyer, Melba Benson, Glenda Walker and Janet Stevens; trio, Neola, who sang, "How High The Moon," Cleo Allred, Dolores Hutchings and Lora Smithson; saxophone solo, Arlo Spencer, Neola; and male quartet, Ballard, Bal-lard, who sang, "Some Enchanted Enchant-ed Evening," Norman Angus, Lynn White, Larry Larsen and Allen Gines. Climaxing the evening activ ity was the serving of ice cream and cake to the approximate 100 in attendance. |
