Show BMDGELAND Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Robert Murphy To Fill Mission A farewell party honoring Robert Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, will be held at the Bridgeland ward house, April 10th. Robert has been called to' fill a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North-Eastern North-Eastern States Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Beal and two small sons, of Salt Lake City, visited over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Aus-tin Beal, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Beal visited at Mt. Home with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mecham. Friday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor were Mrs. Ray Houston, of Leeton, and Mrs. Charles Bigelow, of Lapoint, who are sisters of Mrs. Taylor. On Saturday Mrs. Houston, Hous-ton, Mrs. Bigelow and Mrs. Taylor Tay-lor went to Salt Lake to see their sister, Mrs. Mazel Merk-ley, Merk-ley, who is seriously ill at a Salt Lake Hospital. I On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn attended an American Legion party and supper sup-per at Myton. They honored Mrs. Clayburn and Mrs. Cooper at the party on their birthday anniversaries. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Johnson and children, of Provo', spent the weekend with their father, Reese Clayburn. Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn entertained at a turkey supper, honoring their small son, Roger, on his birthday. Guests were Reese Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Johnson and children.. Dale Neilson, who is employed employ-ed at Magna, spent the weekend here with his family. Mrs. Myrl Smith received word that her brother-in-law, Albert Smith, of Park City, had been seriously injured in an accident while helping to load Some machinery. Wanless Shields attended a meeting, Friday, at Duchesne, for the Cattlemen's Association. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wright was blessed at Sacrament meeting and given the name of Ralph Wells. Richard Fitzgerald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald, was baptized Saturday and confirmed con-firmed at Sacrament meeting. |
