Show : Juniors Slate Prom And Post Prom Dates Enthusiasm is running high at Union High School as the dates of April 9 and 10, for the Junior Prom and Post Prom, respectively, approach. Theme for the all-important event is "Stormy Weather," and the Prom chairman, Carolyn Ross, and committee members are working diligently on decorations decora-tions and ideas to make this year's Prom the most outstanding outstand-ing yet. The semi-formal dance Friday Fri-day night, will be staged at the Union High School gym and will begin at 9:00 p.m. Floor-show- is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. Corsages will be allowed. Assisting Miss Ross with the Prom planning are the following follow-ing chairmen: decorations, Maura Mau-ra Hurley; program, Dale Peterson; Pet-erson; advertising, Almon Johnson John-son and Carolyn Ross; refreshments, refresh-ments, Patsy Gines; music, Kenneth Ken-neth Anderton; floorshow, Janice Jan-ice Nielson; assembly, Barbara Ray. Faculty advisers include Dar-rell Dar-rell Atkinson, James Lewis and Horace Gillispie. Junior class officers are: Dale Womack, president; Marta Morrill, secretary-treasurer Ernie Dorngaard, vice-president; Earlene Warbur-ton, Warbur-ton, representative. The Post-Prom will begin at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night. Tal Wardle's orchestra will furnish the music both nights. |
