The Republicans met last Friday at the American Legion Barracks and selected Howard Harrison as their city chairman, and Monday the Democrats selected se-lected John Zupko as their chairman at the Frontier Grill Cafe. - Chosen to carry on the work as vice-chairwoman for the GOP was Mrs. J. V. McLea, and Mrs. Dwain . Buchanan was the Demos' Dem-os' choice for the same position. The Republicans chose George Hacking for secretary-treasurer and Mrs. Orvill Rudy will take care of the Democrats records and funds. GOP Delegates The sixteen delegates chosen by the Republicans to attend their county convention on Apr. 9 at Duchesne were: Mr. and Mrs. McLea, Kenneth Aycock, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham, David Watkins, J. C. Zimmerman, Zimmer-man, Horace Allred, Dale Ash-by, Ash-by, Heber T. Hall, V. E. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison, George Hacking and Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford McConkie. A vacancy committee com-mittee composed of Mr. Harrison, Harris-on, Mr. McLea and Mr. Aycock was selected to appoint substitutes sub-stitutes for delegates who might not be able to attend the convention. con-vention.
