Show ATTEND CONVENTION Larry Ross, Rulon Gilbert, and Hugh Evans attended the F.F.A. convention at Salt Lake, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Rulon Gilbert competed in the speech contest. He won first place at Union on the subject, "Colorado River Storage Project." Mrs. Gladys Ross went to Vernal Friday, where she received re-ceived more medical treatment. Mrs. Charlie Bird spent Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lurrine Duncan, in Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Roper and son Allan, of Upalco; Mr. and Mrs. Garn Gilbert and family were recent dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen attended the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Perkins at Mt. Emmons, Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washiburn and family, of Ioka, visited Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jameg O. Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and family, of Neola, were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert and son, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday School and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Le-Grande Le-Grande Gilbert, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mower and boys visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen. Those who attended the 4-Stake 4-Stake MIA convention at Alta-mont, Alta-mont, Saturday evening were Scott Lusty, James O. Larsen, Lynn Hansen, Lois Terpening, Deon Bird, Elsie Bird, Mildred Bird, Donna Larsen, Gladys Capson, Bessie Lusty, Celia Gilbert, Gil-bert, Merle Ross and Ida Hor-rocks. Hor-rocks.
