Show Lee Oltosen Takes Over HHis-Chclners HHis-Chclners Agency Announcement was made Tuesday that Leland (Lee) Otto-sen, Otto-sen, long-time resident of the Uintah Basin, had been appoint ed Uintah Basin distributor for Allis-Chalmers farm equipment products. He succeeds the late Carl Harrison, who operated the business under the name of the Basin Implement Co. According to Fred Carlton, blockman for the Allis-Chalmers V Co., Mr. Ottosen will operate if the newly formed company as ' the Ottosen Sales & Service, and his office will be in a uor- tion of the building formerly occupied by the J. G. Peppard j Seed Co. next to Buchanan j Feed Co. He has purchased the I entire buildipg. For the past two years Mr. I i Ottosen has been employed by 1 the Uintah Basin Telephone Co. I having moved here from Tab-I Tab-I iona where he operated a ranch, I which he still owns. He was I one of the important organizers ; of the rural telephone project j and until becoming an em- IPloyee was a director of the : company for four years. Mr. Ottosen owns his own home in Roosevelt and he and nis wife are active in the LDS ! church, she is stake president I of the YWMIA, and he is serv-) serv-) Z on the stake YMMIA board. In addition to operating the wrm equipment business, Mr. Ottosen will continue the glass op, which was a part of the Basin Implement Co. All assets i this company were purchased y the new owner. |
